Sold 1 SPX for 195 points below futures price. The new margin requirements are strict, hopefully there won’t be a liquidation at market open.
Well, IBKR liquidated my position although it was nowhere close to being ITM. I have to accumulate enough wealth for portfolio margin.
Sold 8 XSP instead. Sucks, but at least I can sell some premium.
Sold 1 SPX and 2 XSP for 100 points below index price and 1 SPX for 100 points above index price.
Paying for the apartment and the new war against Iran brought missiles over my head and lowered the account equity below IBKR’s threshold. Only a rise in the index brought it above the threshold again.
Premiums are so high that I could get a 100 point barrier mid-session.
